Troubleshooting

You can’t find the video you reposted

Don’t search your feed for it. Open your profile, tap the Reposts tab, and scroll. Everything you’ve reposted is collected there.

Delete repost isn’t in the Share menu

Press and hold the video instead and look for Remove repost. If neither shows, TikTok’s own advice is to switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data, clear the app’s cache, restart the app and your phone, and update to the latest version.

The repost came back

Refresh your profile. If it’s still there, the removal didn’t register, often because the connection dropped. Remove it again.

You reposted by accident a moment ago

Undo it the same way. The sooner you remove it, the fewer people will have seen it in their feed.

How do I unrepost a video on TikTok?

Open the video, tap Share, then tap Delete repost. Or press and hold the video and tap Remove repost. Both do the same thing.

What happens when I delete a repost?

The video leaves your Reposts tab and stops being shared as your repost. Any replies people left on your repost are deleted too. The original video isn't affected.

How do I find a video I reposted?

Go to your profile and open the Reposts tab. Every video you've reposted is there, newest first.

Can I repost the same video again after undoing it?

Yes. Open the video, tap Share, then Repost, just like the first time.

Can I undo all my reposts at once?

Not in the TikTok app, which only removes them one at a time. Detok removes all your reposts in one go and checks each one.
