This policy covers the repostremover.io website. It explains what we collect, why, and how to ask us to delete it. We've kept it short because we collect very little.
Who we are
The data controller is TODO, a company registered in United Kingdom (company number TODO), registered address TODO. You can reach us at support@repostremover.io.
What this website collects
If you join the launch list
- Your email address, so we can tell you when Detok launches.
- The page you signed up from and your device type (for example "iPhone" or "desktop Chrome"), so we email you about the right version.
- Your approximate country, only when our network provider supplies it with the request. We never store your IP address with your signup.
We use this only to send you one launch email. We don't sell it, share it for advertising, or add you to any other list.
When you browse
If we measure visits, we use cookieless analytics that don't track you across sites and give us only totals, such as page views and countries. This website sets no cookies, so there's no cookie banner.
Like any website, our hosting provider, Hostinger, processes technical information such as your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. To limit repeated signups, we keep a scrambled (hashed) version of your connection, separate from your signup, and delete it within an hour.
Legal basis
We send the launch email because you asked us to (consent). We run analytics and security on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the website working and safe.
How long we keep it
We keep launch-list emails until we've sent the launch email and for up to 12 months after, or until you ask us to delete yours, whichever comes first.
Where it's stored
Signups are stored on our web server with Hostinger, in a file that isn't publicly accessible. Hostinger may process data outside the UK. Transfers are covered by the safeguards required under UK data protection law.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you, or withdraw your consent at any time. To delete your signup, email support@repostremover.io from the address you signed up with, and we'll remove it and confirm.
If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Detok's products
Detok's browser extension and apps run scans and removals on your own device, using the TikTok account you're already logged in to. Each product has its own privacy policy:
Children
This website isn't aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
