How to remove all reposts on TikTok at once
Quick answerChecked October 2026
TikTok has no “remove all” button. You can remove reposts one by one in the app, or remove them all at once with a tool like Detok. Detok scans your Reposts tab, removes each repost at a steady pace and checks that every one is really gone.
Coming to Chrome, Edge, Firefox, iPhone and Android.

Part 1: remove reposts one by one
This is the built-in way. It works on every version of the app, but you repeat it for every single repost.
- Open TikTok and go to your Profile.
- Tap the Reposts tab.
- Tap the first reposted video to open it.
- Tap Share.
- Tap Delete repost. The wording can vary slightly between app versions.
- Go back to your Reposts tab and repeat for the next video.
There’s a slightly quicker way: on the video, press and hold, then tap Remove repost in the menu that appears. Removing a repost also deletes any replies people left on it.
Part 2: how to remove all reposts on TikTok with Detok
Detok does the repeating for you. These steps describe the launch version.
- Install Detok in your browser or on your phone.
- Make sure you're logged in to TikTok as usual.
- Run a scan. Detok counts your reposts and shows you the oldest one.
- Review the list and keep any reposts you want.
- Start the removal. Detok works through the rest at a steady pace and checks each one.
Removing reposts by hand vs with Detok
| By hand | With Detok | |
|---|---|---|
| Taps per repost | About three | None after you start |
| Keep the ones you like | Skip them as you go | Choose before you start |
| Know when you're done | Scroll to check | Receipt reads zero |
| Checks each removal | No | Yes |
| If TikTok pauses actions | You notice and wait | Detok stops and waits |
Troubleshooting
Reposts came back after removing them
Pull down on your profile to refresh it. If a repost is still there, the removal didn’t go through, usually because of a weak connection or because TikTok was pausing actions at the time. Remove it again. Detok checks every removal, so ones that didn’t stick are caught.
TikTok temporarily blocked your actions
If you remove a lot of reposts quickly, TikTok may show a message saying you’re doing that too fast, or quietly stop applying changes. Stop for a few hours before carrying on. When you start again, go slower. Detok paces itself for this reason and stops automatically if TikTok pauses actions. TikTok can still limit any account, so pacing lowers the chance rather than removing it.
You have a very large backlog
With thousands of reposts, clearing everything in one sitting is rarely realistic by hand. Work in batches over a few days, starting with your oldest reposts. Detok handles big backlogs the same way, at a safe pace over time rather than all at once.
The delete option doesn’t appear
Open the video from your own Reposts tab rather than from your feed. If the option still isn’t there, TikTok’s own advice is to switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data, clear the app’s cache, restart the app and your phone, and make sure you’re on the latest version of TikTok.

Can you remove all reposts on TikTok at once?
Not with TikTok's own app. It only lets you remove reposts one at a time. To remove all reposts at once, you need a separate tool such as Detok.
How do I delete all my reposts on TikTok quickly?
The fastest way by hand is to work from your Reposts tab, open each video, tap Share and choose Delete repost. If you have more than a few dozen, a bulk tool saves a lot of tapping.
Why did my reposts come back after I removed them?
Usually the removal didn't register, often because the app was offline or TikTok paused your actions. Refresh your profile, then remove any that are still there. Detok checks each repost after removing it for this reason.
Does removing a repost delete the original video?
No. Removing a repost only takes it off your profile and out of your followers' feeds. The creator's video stays exactly where it was. Any replies people left on your repost are deleted with it.
Will people know I removed my reposts?
TikTok doesn't notify anyone when you remove a repost. The video simply stops appearing in your Reposts tab.
Can I keep some reposts and remove the rest?
Yes. By hand, just skip the ones you want to keep. With Detok you review your reposts after the scan and keep any you choose before removing the rest.
